Will my taxes go up after a revaluation of the community. Typically
taxes go up every year revaluation or not. However please understand the
mill rate or dollars per thousand will decrease which typically doesn't

Ag values are determined by the State with a complex formula every year.
They have to be adjusted for the level of assessment or ratio of the
community. They will often increase in a revaluation year and during a non
revaluation year. See guide at DOR on ag use valuation.
The process for woods and non AG use valuation is to be determined at the
time of a revaluation year which is often years apart.
Simply because it's 5m which was determined in 2004 class and charges 50 percent of the market value determined in a revaluation year.
Taxes or the levy is what gets determined by each taxation entity. School
and other taxes are calculated from the determined equitation of the
district which comes from the DOR from a ratio of sales to assessment
